WHO IS LUCIFER?
Lucifer (Light Bearer, son of the Morning), Devil (slanderer) or Satan (adversary), is a fallen archangel cast out of the heavenly realm for his rebellious role in usurping the authority of GOD, bringing about division and chaos among the angelic ranks that led to supernatural war.

Lucifer, a former archangel, created with pipes in him, in human terms, was the choir director of music in the heavens. His primary responsibility (as a minister of God like all other angels) was the assembling of the angelic ranks to offer up praise and worship to the sovereign Creator. The defeated angel forgot because of pride, one important principle. The created can never become the creator.

THE BIBLE – WHY BELIEVE?
The Bible is the source of all TRUTH. It is the revealed mind of God to mankind. Scientific and medical knowledge between its pages in addition to history, foretelling of future events and the end of this present corrupt world but most importantly the state of man, the Bible is God’s blueprint, His roadmap, His compass, to finding eternal joy and peace which cannot and will not be found in this present age.
- Historical Accuracy – The book of Daniel chapter 2 records a dream by the king of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar, which neither his magicians or astrologers could interpret. The dream was an image of a man.
1. The head was of gold.
2. The breast and arms were of silver.
3. The belly and thighs were of brass.
4. The legs were of iron.
5. The feet of iron and clay.
God through Daniel explained the interpretation of the dream to King Nebuchadnezzar. Four great world kingdoms from the king’s time right on down to our time: Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece and Rome. The revived Roman Empire (Orbis Terrarum/H oikoumenh) would then be divided into ten divisions/kingdoms/regions. The Great King, who is represented by the stone cut out of the mountain without hands, refers to the coming of Jesus and His eternal kingdom.
Babylon was conquered by the Medo-Persian Empire, led by king Cyrus in 539 B.C. Taxes collected had to be paid in silver.
The Medes and Persians were conquered by the Greeks, led by Alexander the Great in 331 B.C. Greek soldiers were nicknamed “brazen coated” because their armor was all bronze.
The Greeks were conquered by the iron will tyranny of the Romans, in 168 B.C, whose empire came to an end in 476 A.D, by barbarians.
- Prophecy fulfilled – At a time when nations worshipped a multiplies of gods/goddesses/demons/deities, emperors and pharaohs (Ammonites, Canaanites, Moabites, Egyptians, Greeks, Romans etc) the monotheistic worship of an UNSEEN God was collectively found among the Israelites only. The Old Testament foretold a time (the pantheon of pagan gods were still actively worshiped ) when believers in a personal God would be found throughout all nations dwelling on the face of the earth.

The Bible quite forthrightly states, “That soul that sinneth, it shall die,” and “the wages of sin is death” (Ezekiel 18:20; Romans 6:23). In the moral government of God, He has ordained that physical and eternal death be the just penalty for sin. People may chafe against God’s decree, thinking it is unfair or extreme, but their protests only show how sin has blinded them to sin’s true nature. The fact that God requires such a drastic penalty should teach them, not that God is brutal, but that sin is heinous.

The Bible portrays unsaved man as a slave to sin and speaks of freeing him in the same manner as slaves were redeemed in the ancient world. Apart from Jesus Christ, all people are alienated from God. Sin’s rebellion forged a gulf between God and man that is humanly impassable. Yet, Christ’s blood built the bridge from God to man.

God became man in the form of Christ Jesus, so He could die. Jesus had to be God so that He could pay our debt. Hebrews 6:1 talks of repentance from dead works. This means to forsake the works of death, or works which produce death.
