FirstCaribbean Introduces Mobile Banking

FirstCaribbean International Bank has partnered with Sybase, the global leader in mobile messaging and mobile commerce services, to provide customers with banking services on the go.

The new mobile banking offering is powered by the Sybase mBanking 365™ platform, giving customers access to multiple banking functions using SMS. FirstCaribbean customers will get the free service to check account balances, get balance alerts, transfer money, and monitor recent transactions. Additional features will be available in the future.

“Our partnership with Sybase 365 allows us to deliver the best possible mobile banking products to our customers throughout the region,” said Mahes Wickramasinghe, FirstCaribbean’s Chief Administrative Officer.
