Earthquakes Continues At Alarming Rate Around The World!

A 7.0 magnitude quake last month killed more than 230,000 people in Haiti.

Less than two weeks ago, an 8.8 magnitude quake — the fifth-strongest since 1900 — killed more than 900 people in Chile and on Monday(8th), a strong pre-dawn 6.0 magnitude quake struck rural eastern Turkey, killing at least 51 people.

Over the weekend earthquakes rocked the Pacific area.  An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale struck in Fiordland, New Zealand’s lower South Island, on Sunday morning, causing no casualties or damages.

Japan experienced a 6.6 earthquake on March 14, 2010. A strong earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.6 jolted northern Japan on Sunday, seismologists said, shaking buildings in the capital Tokyo some 240 km (150 miles) away.

There were no reports of injuries or damage and no tsunami warning was issued. The magnitude of the quake, at 5:08 p.m. (0808 GMT), was measured at 6.6 by the U.S. Geological Survey and the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA). The epicentre was about 40 km (25 miles) beneath the ocean off Honshu, Japan’s main island, the JMA said.

Also an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.0 has rocked eastern parts of Indonesia. A separate 5.9 earthquake had hit Indonesia just hours earlier on Saturday.

Other recipients of recent quakes include Hawaii, California and Okahoma. Whether natural or not, whether the earth is purging itself or not the scriptures speaks of increasing earthquakes as the time alloted for human rule on this earth draws to a close. Population increase to megacites on fault lines does not make the situation any easier etiher. So far 40 earthquakes have been recorded.
