Eagle Ray Kills Woman Off Florida Keys

     In a bizarre accident, an eagle ray leaped onto a boat off the Florida Keys and knocked a woman to the deck killing her.

The ray weighing 80 pounds {36 kg} with a wingspan of 5 to 6 feet, jumped out of the water and collied with the victim who was with her family on a board in the Atlantic Ocean off the the city off Marathon in the Florida Keys, wildlife investigators said. The boat was traveling at about 25 mp{40kph} when the ray collided with the woman killing them both. The impact, wildlife investigators said, most likely threw the woman backwards as she hit her head on the vessel.
