‘Sara G’ Nearing Barbados

The crew on board ‘Sara G” were as of 6th March 2010, 275 nautical miles or 500km of open sea, to row to reach Barbados.

Family, friends and supporters are expected to land in the island tomorrow ahead of the crew to welcome them. Regular podcasts from Irishman Mike Jones, leader of the expedition have kept followers of their daily progress on the high seas from weather conditions to fishy friends!

The crew is on course to arrive in Bridgetown Barbados on Wednesday some time once the weather holds out.
