Just when you though you have hear it all, then along comes something that just rocks your world and leaves you in a state of total disbelief. This is a classic example of the medical profession gone totally haywire. I wanted to comment more on this story but I hurting after reading the article.

It is a totally reprehensible project with adults trying to force adult decisions upon kids that are still trying to cope with childhood.

Not only reprehensible but unethical. Such a program can have devastating psychological damage on the welfare of some children who are just going through conflicting emotions of self identity which is all part of growing up.
It does not mean that they are trap inside a body.

I totally agree with your thoughts on the subject. The problem lie that the doctor who is pushing the program seems to have some agenda in mind, that probably resolves around personal glorification. Factor in that this is all taking place in Boston leaves me little hope that it will actually see any real attempt to squash the program. Boston does lie in the sate that has continually voted drink driver and vehicular manslaughter Senator Ted Kennedy back into office for four decades plus.
